JWU Announces Spring Chef’s Choice Classes
Culinary enthusiasts interested in sharpening their cooking skills, exploring global cuisines and cooking like a professional will have the opportunity to do so this spring through Johnson & Wales University’s Chef’s Choice classes. Classes will be held on March 23 and April 27 at the university’s Harborside Campus in Providence.
Chef’s Choice classes offer the public the chance to learn from the talented chef-instructors at JWU’s College of Food Innovation & Technology. Classes combine a hands-on culinary experience with skills demonstrations under the direction of our professional chef-instructors. In just a few hours, you can:
- explore world cuisines
- improve your culinary fundamentals
- perfect your favorite pastry, cookie or confection
Classes start at $140.00 per person for a three-hour experience. This spring’s classes include:

April 27- Springtime- “Springtime brings abundant growth in the form of all plants, flowers, and delicious colorful spring foods. We’ll explore spring dining with seasonal ingredients to create light and vibrant dishes.”
April 27- Healthy Desserts- “From lightened-up delights, fruit-forward desserts, and healthy recipes, you’ll find everything you need to satisfy your sweet tooth.”
